2006 “Nella Fantasia”
Our 2006 program, Nella Fantasia (pronounced fan-ta-see-a), featured the
emotional music of Il Divo. The rich music was accentuated by a formal style and
warm colors.
2006 was a very successful season for Aria within CWEA and WGI. Our circuit
performances grew stronger throughout the season and our WGI performances
did the same. Following the Atlanta regional, we were moved to make several
significant changes to the show. Those changes paid off when we traveled to the
Richmond regional and placed fourth in finals. Making finals in Richmond gave
every member a boost of energy going into World Championships. That boost
helped Aria make history for our organization by placing into Semifinals in Dayton
for the first time!
