2004 “Blue”
2004 can be summed up in one small word...blue. The inspiration for this show
came from Nina Simone and her melancholy yet mesmerizing Little Girl Blue. Our
very own little girl blue was the anchor of the show as she sat in the lonely center
of the floor or strolled around the floor in thought.
With WGI moving to San Diego this year we did not make the trip to participate;
however, we did have a fantastic season within CWEA. We were very pleased to
have had then largest Aria ever with 18 members. Audiences were very kind to
us this season as they sat silently moved by the quite emotion and flow of our
performances.
