Aria Winterguard says Goodbye

Aria Winterguard was an independent winterguard in the heart of North Carolina competing in CWEA and WGI.

In their own words:

Aria Winterguard began in the fall of 2001. Our philosophy is simple: create a quality product that is both challenging and entertaining while promoting excellence in performance.

Aria competes locally in the Carolina Winter Ensemble Association (CWEA) and nationally within Winterguard International (WGI). Thanks to the dedication of the members, staff and parents, we had the pleasure of placing into Semi-finals at WGI World Championships in 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012. In 2011, Aria became a WGI A Class Finalist for the first time followed by another appearance in Finals in 2013. The 2014 season will mark our first season competing in the Independent Open Class!

In addition to competing, Aria Winterguard strives to educate and develop local area guards and instructors. Each year, many of our performing members also teach and instruct their own colorguards and winterguards. Current and former Aria members are now instructing guards across North Carolina and Virginia.

We also offer instruction to area programs through our summer clinics. Any area student from a high school colorguard program or those who simply want to continue learning new skills are welcome to attend.

Thank you for many years of great memories! Good luck to all!
